In 1980 Islamic Center of Tacoma (ICT) was established in the heart of Tacoma. Since then it has been a pillar of support and unity for Pierce County’s diverse community. With the growing Muslim population in the region, the center was expanded in 2000 to accommodate the increasing needs of the community,
further strengthening its role as a place of worship, education, and social connection. The muslim community has been growing steadily, playing a vital role in propagating islam and spreading peace and harmony in the muslim community and the community at large.
