Our School

The Sunday School initiative of the Center of Tacoma is Dedicated to the principles of Islam; our Sunday School is a vibrant hub for education and community building. With a comprehensive curriculum spanning Quranic Studies, Islamic Studies, and Arabic language classes, our program caters to over a hundred students across six grades. Our experienced teachers are committed to nurturing a strong foundation of knowledge and faith, supplemented by engaging activities for our younger learners. At the Islamic Center of Tacoma, we take pride in fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Saadia Wahid

Saadia Wahid, a dentist from Pakistan, is pursuing a Master’s in Health care Business Administration at Oregon Health and Science University. Residing in Tacoma since 2018 with her husband and three children, she is passionate about Islamic education and youth identity development. Committed to creating a safe space for the next generation, she values building connections within the mosque and fostering community camaraderie. Saadia finds joy in reading, traveling, making new friends, and empowering people.
